One car · Three competitions · Two days
You are handed a box of parts on Saturday morning. By the afternoon it drives, because you wired it and wrote the code. On Sunday the same car has to race, shove a rival out of a ring, and play football - and you only get a modification window between each one. No prior robotics experience is assumed.
Every team gets one kit and it stays with them for the whole camp. The car is never rebuilt between competitions, only adapted - which is the real problem the camp sets. Three formats want three different machines and you have one.

Controller setup, motor logic, calibration, then test runs on the floor. A car that drives straight is a car whose code you understood, so this is where most of the troubleshooting happens.
Racing, sumo and futsal, back to back, with a modification window between each. Points from all three add up to one overall standing.
A track rewards speed, a ring rewards weight, a pitch rewards steering. Between each event there is a timed window to change the car - a pusher plate on, a scoop off. Full rules, with dimension and weight limits, reach every registered team before Day 2.
A marked circuit on the main ground. Speed matters, but so does holding a line through a corner at full throttle - most time is lost on the turns, not the straights.
Two cars inside a marked ring and one objective: push the other one out. Grip, weight and where you put that weight decide this far more than top speed ever will.
A lightweight ball, a marked pitch, an opposing goal. This one rewards manoeuvrability and teams who can actually coordinate - not the quickest car on the ground.
The rules of each category, including the entry requirements for a car you bring yourself, are subject to change at the Lead Instructor's discretion. Any change is circulated to every registered team before it applies.
Saturday is build and code. Sunday is nothing but competition.
Timings within each day are approximate and will shift a little with the pace of the teams. Both days run 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Handed out at the close of Sunday, straight after the futsal final. Two of them have nothing to do with winning a race.
Yes, and everyone agrees to them when they register. They cover general conduct, disciplinary actions, safety, student protection, moving around the venue, and the equipment you are lent. Breaking them can mean a warning, a whole team disqualified from the competitions, or removal from the camp, and your school is told if somebody is removed. Read them in full on the camp rules page.
No. Day 1 starts at the components - what each one is and what it does - before any assembly begins, and the coding session is run the same way. The camp is built for students who have never wired a motor.
Yes. Registration is by team, but individual entries are placed into a team by the Council, so you will not be left without one.
No - and that is deliberate. You get one kit and one build. Between the three formats there is a timed window to adapt the car you already have: a pusher plate for sumo, a scoop for futsal, both within announced limits. Making one machine do three jobs is the engineering problem the camp is really setting.
Optionally, yes. Any team that wants to keep its vehicle can buy it at the close of the camp. The price is announced before registration closes, so nobody has to decide on the day. Teams that do not buy simply return the kit intact, and nothing about the camp depends on buying one.
It is open to students from schools across Peshawar. Places are capped by how many kits are available, so registering early matters.
A laptop, one per team at least - you will need it for the coding session on Day 1. Everything else is provided: kits, microcontrollers, batteries, tools and the arena setup.

You may also bring your own materials, but the Lead Instructor has to approve them before they are used. Bring them on the first morning and ask rather than assuming.
A car that does not meet all seven cannot be entered, so check before you bring it. Teams building from the kit on the day are not at a disadvantage - the competitions are judged on driving and adaptation, not on how long you have owned the car.
