Bloomfield Hall Science Society was co-founded by Anayah Shahzad, Mohammad Mohaimin, Sulaiman Rehan and Ehsham Yasir - all four founded the society together - as a small group of students who wanted more from STEM than what fit inside a classroom. What began as after-school discussions on physics problems and half-finished robotics projects grew into a fully-fledged, student-led society with its own competitions, workshops, and research culture.
Today, the society runs independently of any single subject or grade - it exists wherever there's a question worth chasing, whether that's in biology, code, circuits, or the night sky.
We exist to make serious science accessible, social, and genuinely fun. That means giving students real platforms - olympiads, research projects, and mentorship - instead of just theory on a whiteboard.
Every discipline, from mathematics to environmental science, gets equal weight here. We're not building specialists; we're building people who know how to think like scientists, no matter what they end up studying.

The Bloomfield Hall Science Society, also known as BHSS, is the student-led science society of Bloomfield Hall School. It is run by students across the senior school and covers every STEM discipline - biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, environmental science, astronomy and medicine - through olympiad preparation, lab workshops, research projects, competitions, guest lectures and community science outreach.
The society was co-founded by Anayah Shahzad, Mohammad Mohaimin, Sulaiman Rehan and Ehsham Yasir. All four are co-founders.
A student council leads it: Anayah Shahzad as President, Mohammad Mohaimin as Vice President, Sulaiman Rehan as Chief of Science Staff, Haseeb Shah as Secretary General, and Mian Muhammad Qasim as Director of Operations.
Science olympiad preparation, hands-on lab workshops, student research projects, competitions, guest lectures, study groups and science fairs. It also runs community outreach, including the RCWF STEM Outreach Programme - four days of free, hands-on science for children at the Ran’aa Child Welfare Organisation, led by the society with the Bloomfield Hall Philanthropy Club.

Membership is by application through this website. Applications are open to Bloomfield Hall students and, for some activities, to students from other schools. You can also reach the society through the contact page.
